Originally recorded in 2002, by this time Born Stupid had reduced to a 3-piece, 'cause of a flakey drummer who dropped out the morning of a show. Rather than pull out, we used the previously booked rehearsal time to see how things worked out. Vocalist Mike sat down at the drums, guitarist Scott stepped up to the mic, and Steve stayed exactly where he was. It led into the band's most active period.
This release includes an entire set, recorded in their old stomping ground, at Reading's Purple Turtle bar.
"23.03.2001" and "Statue of Heart Square" were planned to be recorded for a new EP that never materialised. This performance is one of the only recordings of those songs in existence.
